Daniel Gaspar- Chef/Owner

Daniel moved to the United States from his native Mexico when he was just 9 years old. Since then, he has built an entire life and a professional career in Austin and has been mentored by some of the biggest talents in the city. His restaurant experience includes managing two concepts for the Emmer & Rye Hospitality Group, cooking at Barley Swine and Comedor, and even had the privilege of cooking at the prestigious James Beard House in NYC. Outside of his passion in the kitchen, he is a proud husband and a father of two.

  • Daffodil is a catering service for small parties, gatherings, weddings and events. Our core values are based on supporting our community by promoting our neighboring farmers and businesses. Our food is inspired by our local and regional seasons, cooking techniques around the world, and world delicacies that are sourced by people here in our state.

    We have built our entire professional career in Austin and have been mentored by some of the biggest talents in the city. Our creativity, curiosity, and experience bring unique and modern dishes that are tailored to your occasion.
